Sa Defenza

Fourth-generation farmers and first-generation winemakers, we are based in Donori, in southern Sardinia.

The name of the winery comes from the locality “Sa Defenza” and reflects our way of understanding the land, grounded in a respectful approach to its natural balance.

Through permaculture, we aim to preserve the rhizosphere, paying close attention to the dynamics that regulate the interaction between the vines and the surrounding environment. In the cellar, we intervene with a minimal approach, guiding the transformation of grapes into wine.

Wine is an element that accompanies our way of being in the world, connected to what we create in our daily work—something that goes beyond simple consumption, becoming a means of connection.
