Stefano Pippia

Stefano Pippia manages the family estate, continuing the tradition of cultivating and vinifying Vernaccia di Oristano and the red grape variety Nieddera.

The entire vineyard area is managed under integrated production practices and has been renewed over time, replacing the old bush-trained vines once worked with horses with trellised systems, while maintaining a balanced yield and preserving traditional soil management techniques.

The winery, located in Baratili San Pietro, was built in 1936 by Stefano’s grandfather and was fully renovated in 2006, including the installation of a small bottling line.

Winemaking follows traditional methods passed down through generations: fermentations take place without the use of selected yeasts, and ageing occurs naturally in chestnut wood barrels.
